Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Packaging and Labeling: Accurately pack, label, and organize inventory to ensure proper storage and retrieval.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory audits, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate stock counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required or provided).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless transition and workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to meet daily productivity goals.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
