Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely receive and process incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Organize, stock, and rotate inventory on the warehouse floor to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Packaging: Prepare products for shipment using proper packaging materials and labeling techniques.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday (12-hour shifts).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Basic English skills required for verbal instructions and safety briefings.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (but not mandatory for this role).
