What you'll do: Lead cross-functional research initiatives using predictive modeling and scenario planning, collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable strategies, and publish groundbreaking reports on technological disruptions. You'll drive innovation sprints and mentor a high-performing research team while maintaining relationships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year horizon scanning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI governance)
- Develop strategic scenarios and impact assessments for 2026-2030 technological inflection points
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with data-driven visualizations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Build and maintain a proprietary futures intelligence database with predictive analytics
- Represent the organization at global innovation forums and academic symposia
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in strategic foresight or technology trend analysis at Fortune 500 level
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and predictive modeling tools
- Strong publication record in academic or industry foresight publications
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence patterns (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research preferred
