Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/socioeconomic trends to identify high-impact opportunities for 2026-2035
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Present future scenarios to executive teams and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and global R&D hubs
- Author thought leadership pieces on future-of-work and human augmentation
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into commercial innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive-level futurist presentations
- Published thought leadership in HBR, TechCrunch, or similar platforms
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP preferred)
- Portfolio of future roadmaps implemented by Fortune 500 companies
