Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2028
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 Innovation Roadmap with quantifiable KPIs
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive teams
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological signals affecting industry evolution
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from strategic innovation initiatives
