Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast 3-5 year market impacts
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning post-2025
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive industry shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused R&D investments
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation task forces for future-readiness
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors influencing tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and disruption theory
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio published foresight reports or scenario planning projects
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
