Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic foresight methodologies to map technological and societal trajectories through 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on disruptive innovations
- Develop actionable roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Analyze global megatrends to identify competitive advantages and market opportunities
- Champion human-centered design principles in future technology development
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Build and lead a future-focused innovation incubator within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or similar (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
