Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to commercialize 2026-viable innovations with $10M+ potential
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and patent development
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Design future-proof governance models for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Partner with venture capital arms to incubate next-gen startups
- Mentor R&D teams in translating theoretical breakthroughs to scalable solutions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation roles with $50M+ impact
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-disrupting initiatives launched since 2020
