Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 2026 innovation roadmap spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board, translating foresight into actionable strategy
- Manage a $5M innovation fund, allocating resources to high-impact future-facing projects
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 commercialization
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists, fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking and visionary thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services with 5+ years in C-suite/VP roles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strategic partnerships experience with FAANG companies or top-tier venture capital firms
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with innovation focus
- Prior experience leading teams through digital transformation or market disruption
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review/MIT Review preferred)
