Responsibilities

- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping next-gen consumer and enterprise solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Translate complex scientific concepts into market-ready business cases
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual innovation budgets
- Present future-tech visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Portfolio of successfully launched futuristic products/services
- Experience managing global innovation ecosystems and venture capital networks
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
