Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the 2026 Strategic Foresight Program, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon Reports' with predictive insights validated by Delphi methodology
- Chair the Future Innovation Council, guiding R&D investments in exponential technologies
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Translate foresight into product roadmaps and market entry strategies for emerging verticals
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Policy, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics)
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology strategy publications
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and scenario modeling frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-oriented initiatives brought to market
