We seek a visionary 2026 Technology Futurist to lead strategic initiatives that bridge emerging innovations with market readiness. This role requires a blend of technical foresight, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership to position our company at the forefront of next-generation technology adoption.
As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll analyze convergence patterns in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology to develop actionable roadmaps. You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to ensure our portfolio anticipates and shapes the technological horizon.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives for 2026 technology trends across AI, quantum, and bio-tech sectors
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning emerging tech with market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future-vision into product roadmaps
- Present technology foresight findings to C-suite and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology evolution and societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption planning
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
