Our Austin hub offers unparalleled resources, including a $50M R&D lab and partnerships with MIT's Future Lab. This position reports directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and influences strategy across 15+ industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-functional incubators for emerging technologies with $2M annual innovation budgets
- Produce quarterly technology impact reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (Stanford, MIT, ETH Zurich)
- Design ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present at global tech summits including CES and Web Summit
- Mentor emerging tech startups within our accelerator program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on next-gen innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in Nature Technology or IEEE Future Directions
- Proficiency in technology forecasting tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience scaling technologies from lab to market ($100M+ product launches)
- Certified in AI Ethics (IEEE) and Quantum Computing (IBM Q Network)
- Portfolio of implemented tech roadmaps with measurable ROI
