Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bio-convergence) to identify competitive advantages
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-vision initiatives
- Author strategic white papers and thought leadership content for industry summits
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year deployment horizons
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for business strategy
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their convergence patterns
- Experience advising C-suite executives on future-proofing business models
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
