Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological disruptions through horizon scanning and trend analysis (2026-2030)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Develop patent-pending solutions for climate modeling and personalized medicine
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging tech ethics and implementation
- Secure $10M+ in government innovation grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough portfolio)
- 5+ years in technology strategy with 3+ patents or peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in machine learning, nanotechnology, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling tech from concept to commercialization
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience with USPTO patent prosecution and international tech policy
- Public speaking at TED/Nexus events or equivalent platforms
