Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential through 2026
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Architect proof-of-concept projects for next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial computing)
- Establish innovation frameworks to assess technology viability and ROI for future adoption
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology trends and implementation strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services based on emerging technologies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, Web3, or quantum computing
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry publications
- Experience scaling innovation programs in enterprise environments
