Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical frameworks for AI systems including bias detection protocols and fairness metrics
- Conduct cross-functional audits of machine learning models to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish governance policies for generative AI deployments
- Author whitepapers and industry standards for responsible AI adoption
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate ethical safeguards into development lifecycles
- Monitor emerging AI legislation and advise organizational strategy accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or AI transparency techniques
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Proficiency in Python with experience in fairness libraries (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Proven track record of influencing organizational AI policy decisions
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies or industry ethics panels
