Responsibilities
- Lead Research Strategy: Define and execute the high-level research roadmap for Project 2026, aligning technical goals with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of senior researchers and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Model Development: Oversee the design, training, and optimization of advanced neural network architectures and large language models.
- Publication & Patenting: Drive the publication of high-impact research papers and secure patents for proprietary technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to translate theoretical research into production-ready applications.
- Ethical AI: Establish and enforce guidelines for responsible AI development to ensure fairness, transparency, and safety.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI/ML research, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and distributed computing systems.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and experience with high-performance computing environments.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle novel problems and derive insights from complex datasets.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
