Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Monitor patient vitals and document medical records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless treatment plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required
- Current Illinois state healthcare license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
- Flexibility to handle diverse patient cases and schedules
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
