Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and treatment schedules across weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide on-call support for urgent patient inquiries and emergencies
- Train and mentor new weekend staff members
- Conduct weekend patient assessments and care evaluations
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare coordination experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-6PM)
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Texas healthcare professional license
