Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans for weekend patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions during weekend shifts
- Perform procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suturing, wound care)
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation as needed
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Current Virginia NP license and DEA certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in primary care or emergency medicine
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Strong weekend adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
