Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures for enterprise clients.
- Perform high-priority troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network outages during weekend shifts.
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Collaborate with the development team to optimize network performance and latency.
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
- Document technical configurations, changes, and incident reports in our knowledge base.
- Lead weekend maintenance windows, minimizing disruption to daily operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
- Proven track record of managing weekend maintenance schedules and resolving critical issues.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI models, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid US work authorization is required.
