Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient records accurately in electronic health systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Support patient education and family communication
- Participate in weekend staff huddles and shift transitions
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Healthcare background in acute or long-term care preferred
