Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmap integrating AI ethics, climate resilience, and human augmentation trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops mapping future market opportunities to R&D pipelines
- Produce scenario analyses and risk assessments for emerging geopolitical and technological paradigms
- Present strategic frameworks to executive leadership and external stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Maintain a dynamic knowledge repository of emerging scientific breakthroughs and societal shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech startup
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or societal transformation topics
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ completed future strategy implementations
