Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping solutions for 2026's societal challenges (climate resilience, neurotech interfaces, space commerce)
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for emerging tech adoption in regulated industries
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national innovation labs
- Present futuristic technology concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes impacting 2026 tech deployment
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with direct experience in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, space tech)
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic technologies from concept to enterprise implementation
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or patents in at least one forward-looking technology field
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5+ year digital transformation
- Strong network within DARPA, NASA, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
