Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology planning and roadmap development for 2026 initiatives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Drive innovation through prototyping and POC development with engineering teams
- Build and maintain relationships with research institutions, startups, and industry partners
- Present technology visions and roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Oversee R&D budget allocation and resource optimization
- Ensure ethical implementation of disruptive technologies through governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or startup scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with measurable market impact
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex R&D projects
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
