Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies with potential impact by 2026 (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence)
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps and innovation strategies aligned with long-term business goals
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, investments, and acquisition opportunities in next-gen tech sectors
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven insights
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into development pipelines
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation and implementation
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or advanced materials)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Strong business acumen with experience aligning tech initiatives with commercial objectives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced tech environments
