Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy roadmap targeting 2026-2030 market opportunities
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging technologies across quantum computing, AI, neurotech, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization frameworks
- Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping across 15+ global teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully launching at least three market-disrupting technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technology landscapes including quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Exceptional financial modeling skills for technology valuation and portfolio management
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards of directors
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent
