Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and change management programs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven experience in emerging technology assessment and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, generative AI, decentralized systems)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong track record of translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) or innovation management preferred
