Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (2026-2030)
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future innovations into development pipelines
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position company in emerging tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage innovation incubation projects from concept to pilot implementation
- Build and lead a dedicated future technologies task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, Biotech Integration, or Climate Tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Assessment preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology innovation projects
