Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Architect frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation
- Partner with C-suite to secure $20M+ annual R&D budget for future-tech initiatives
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients on emerging tech adoption strategies
- Oversee patent portfolio development with 50+ annual filings in next-gen tech domains
- Drive sustainability integration in tech lifecycle management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI/quantum solutions
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field with published research
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience securing $15M+ innovation budgets and managing P&L for tech ventures
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, etc.)
- Certifications in AI ethics, quantum computing, or sustainable technology
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese preferred for APAC market engagement
