Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future technology solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for collaborative R&D
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting future technologies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental projects and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching at least three successful innovation initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Experience securing and managing large-scale R&D budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Ethics) preferred
