Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for emerging tech incubation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board with data-driven risk/benefit analysis
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, tech scouting, and internal venture incubation
- Represent company at global tech forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Proven track record leading complex R&D projects from concept to commercialization
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains: generative AI, quantum computing, spatial web, neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize vast amounts of technical and market data
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field preferred
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
