Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into product development priorities
- Build quantitative models to assess ROI and risk of emerging technology investments
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented success stories
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Strong executive communication abilities with experience presenting to C-suite
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling frameworks
