Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI ethics, quantum algorithms, neuro interfaces) and quantify business impacts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the Board of Directors and investors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on 2026 technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar on quantum/AI convergence
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for frontier technologies (NIST, EU AI Act)
- Portfolio of successful technology commercialization in regulated industries
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
