Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0, etc.) for commercial viability and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions and validating market readiness
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators to co-create future-facing solutions
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory changes impacting 2026 technology landscapes
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and securing multi-million dollar budgets
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
