Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Technology Horizon Reports' analyzing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space tech convergence
- Design strategic innovation frameworks for 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future market disruptions
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish global thought leadership through white papers and conference keynotes
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech commercialization successes
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of emerging tech
