Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact projections
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable plans
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum/AI/biotech
- Advise executive team on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their competitive implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on strategic transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) preferred
