Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Design and facilitate innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and technological shifts affecting industry landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, Web3)
- Strong background in translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
