Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Translate future insights into actionable business strategies with measurable ROI targets
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry disruptors, academic partners, and venture capitalists
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members to inform high-stakes decisions
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks for rapid experimentation and scaling
- Lead annual 'Future State' workshops with 200+ stakeholders to align on strategic priorities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or corporate foresight at Fortune 500 level
- Proven track record of translating foresight into billion-dollar business opportunities
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CF foresight certification)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with academia and venture capital partners
