Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics) and disruptive business models
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for futuristic solutions in sustainability, healthcare, and human augmentation
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into product development lifecycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of future-ready technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., biotech, decentralized AI, climate tech)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
