Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI precursors) and their business implications through 2030
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market forecasts
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on technological disruption risks/opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for stakeholders
- Oversee the innovation pipeline from ideation to pilot implementation
- Represent company at global technology foresight forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of predicting technological trends (3+ major predictions realized)
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, and quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets
- Executive-level presentation and strategic communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
