Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technology trends, market disruptions, and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscape
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) into core business operations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and risk mitigation
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and adaptability across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, Business Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Outstanding communication skills to articulate abstract concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., from World Future Society) strongly preferred
- Portfolio published futurist research or strategic foresight projects required
