Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (neurotech, quantum computing, ambient interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions with real-world applications
- Analyze socio-technical trends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling strategic proposals
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biometric integration
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with policy experts to shape regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (quantum/AI/neurotech)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on next-gen tech applications
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing government/private innovation grants ($1M+ scale)
