Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergencies and prioritize critical care situations
- Conduct patient assessments and administer prescribed treatments
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and training sessions
- Support continuity of care with weekday handoff procedures
Qualifications
- Active Texas nursing license or equivalent healthcare certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute/critical care
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Valid Texas driver's license for facility travel
