Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend and overnight shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and document medical records accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient handovers
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Support patient education and discharge planning procedures
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) required
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or urgent setting
- BLS/CPR certification and valid California healthcare license
- Availability to work flexible weekend and overnight schedules
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
