Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend shift operations and direct staff activities
- Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and safety standards
- Manage patient admissions and discharge procedures
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services
- Prepare shift reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Train and mentor new weekend staff members
- Address patient concerns and resolve escalations promptly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field
- 2+ years supervisory experience in healthcare
- Valid Pennsylvania nursing or medical assistant license
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (flexible hours)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
