Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and hardware systems during night operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of network incidents reported during off-hours.
- Conduct routine security patches and system updates to ensure compliance and performance.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand off critical issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to escalations and provide technical guidance to junior staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, system administration, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security protocols.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
