Responsibilities
- Oversee all night and weekend operations, ensuring targets for throughput, accuracy, and safety are met.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of floor staff, supervisors, and warehouse associates.
- Monitor inventory levels in real-time and implement corrective actions to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Conduct daily safety audits and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to ensure seamless handover and continuity of operations.
- Manage labor resources effectively, including scheduling and overtime control.
- Handle emergency situations and escalations with a calm, decisive, and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a night shift environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of relaying complex information clearly.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to obtain any additional necessary certifications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing waste.
