Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to strict quality standards and deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets customer specifications.
- Workflow Optimization: Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure efficient workflow during night operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or fulfillment centers.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on attendance and punctuality.
